Lake
Outside, amist the bustle of the Weyrbowl, lies the lake. It sits off to the side, partially shaded by the vast cliff-face, dotted with dragon weyrs. It's a placid lake, without strong undercurrents, and gently slopes from shallow to deep, the deepest parts easily covering a full bronze dragon. A dark, deep blue in color, it's chilly waters offer a haven in the summer. Dotted in the middle are several small "islands" that jut out from the water. About six feet in diameter, these islands are usually used by swimmers as diving boards in the deeper water, or wallows for lazy firelizards.
