These were written by Jackie, a person who helped me start this on AG2
Egg One - Hatched Blue Vlakteth
As if attempting to disguise itself, this egg is half buried in sand. And the half that isn't buried is so closely colored to that of the sand, that it's hard to distinguish what is clinging sand, and what is egg. A larger ovoid, the mottles of tans and browns give the only indication that this, is in fact, an egg and not a lump of sand. Upon very close inspection, one would notice tiny, almost hairline-fracture looking lines of pearlescent white.
Egg Two - Hatched Blue Hinixusth
A mottled ovoid sits upon the sands, it's presence hardly noticeable at first. A slight shimmer across the shell sets it apart from the sand, and distinguishes it as an egg. An interlaid pattern of spinner-web black breaks up the monotony of brown, however varied in shade, upon the shell. Not a large egg, but neither is it small. Happily average, it sits and waits for the day it will hatch.
Egg Three - Hatched Bronze Novusth
One of the larger eggs stands out amongst the clutch. Almost perfectly round, the shell is also peculiarly smooth. An almost uniform brown covers this egg, broken up only by the sparse sprinkling of cream and tan that appear almost like freckles, or the play of light. It sits among its siblings, a few inches taller than those around it, and appears as if plotting world domination. Of course... it's only an egg.
Egg Four - Hatched Green Rectusth
As if attempting to conceal itself, this smaller egg is hidden behind larger brethren. Why is anyone's guess, as this egg is almost a perfect gem. Pearly cream with a smooth, polished surface, this small egg is a glittering jewel amongst the standard mottled spheres. It seems not to know it, though, and is content behind its larger brothers. It takes a very determined, and careful, person to slip past and come close to this spectacular pearl.
Egg Five - Hatched Green Yasashiith
Clustered close to its twin, this dark brown egg is reminiscent of the midnight sky. Dotted with white, almost luminescent spots, the dark surface of this egg is as a void, matte and deep. Constellations might be found in the pattern of "stars" upon its shell, and it's hard to discern if this egg is solid, or an infinity of space.
Egg Six - Hatched Blue Tenseith
Near its brother-egg (five), this egg is almost the complete opposite. Creamy surface speckled with dark brown spots, as if the midnight sky had inverted itself for giggles and grins. The pair together seems almost perfectly matched in size and shape, almost meant to be together forever. A sense of balance surrounds this egg, and while the other was a void of space, this one is a bursting pool of light, radiating outward.
Egg Seven - Hatched Brown Chuuith
Oddly shaped, this lump almost appears to be a misplaced mini bolder. Upon closer inspection, however, it is indeed an egg. A drab, grey-brown color, it has absolutely no markings of any kind. No mottling touches its shell, no play of light and shadow. It is simply mousy brown, lumpy, and there.
Egg Eight - Hatched Brown Hikinth
Various shades of brown, tan, black, and cream play across the shell of this medium sized egg. With seemingly no rhyme or reason, the colors fold, drizzle, sizzle, and slosh over each other. Sometimes black over cream, sometimes brown over black, sometimes tan across them all, the colors splatter randomly everywhere. It's really quiet hard to follow the path of a particular color. And just when you think you've got the pattern, a misplaced block interrupts it all.
Queen Egg - Hatched Gold Maigoth
There is no denying it. This egg houses gold. Translucent gold shimmers across the large, perfect surface of this egg. Hands taller than its brothers, the queen egg sits on a place of worship with the brooding Zenth. Brilliant bright gold trickles from the crown to the base, drizzling into amber, and then a darker, more rich and ancient gold. It inspires awe and envy, this queen daughter.
