Jerodyn smiled when the two dragonets, the blue and the green, stopped, almost to recognize her in some way. }}Go on,{{ she urged, knowing neither was for her. When they Impressed, she clapped and smiled, watching them leave. A nag began at the back of her mind.
You might not Impress, it said, in an almost tangible voice. You might just stand here, unchosen.
But Jerodyn refused to believe it. She heard all dragons-- at least, the ones that wanted to be heard. She watched the green dragonet hatch and its tail smack into the golden egg, cracking it. She gasped, and longed for a moment for the gold. But what would that prove? Golds could be stuck up, and though she might seem it sometimes, a snob Jeri was not.
She watched as the egg hatched, showing a stocky, almost dull gold dragonet. The young queen seemed to have no pretentions about showing off; she marched straight to Syriella, and Jerodyn's heart leaped high for the girl she had only just met recently. There was only a distant pang that she did not get the gold, and she quickly quashed it with the knowledge that dragons all had their functions and all were wonderful creatures, and she would be lucky to Impress. So she stood, watching the hatchlings find their chosens, waiting for hers.

Sirai had been one of the last to come into the Sands. Like everyone else, he had the Candidate Robe on making sure of it's whiteness and it's fit on his body. Although he was not a very vain person, he liked to make sure that he was always presentable. He was a little excited at what will happen today of all days. He has never attended a Hatching and fully wished that he would not be making a fool of himself. He also wondered if today would be his lucky day of Impressing a dragonet. But if not, he was sure that there will be other times to stand for a Hatching. After all, I am still young. he thought.
As he watched, he was fascinated at all the myriad colors of the eggs that shattered as they were pushed open by the dragonets inside. He never knew that the colors of the eggs do not necessarily portray the color of the dragonet that hatches from within. He was rather smitten with the Golden Bronze and hoped that he would deign to Impress on him but he was sure that he would need to be really worthy for a Bronze to Impress on him. Nevertheless, he watched and waited hoping and praying to Faranth that he would Impress a Bronze. However, it would not be so bad not to Impress at this time for he dearly wanted to be worthy if and when a Bronze do decide to Impress on him.
He watched with bated breath as the other dragonets that hatched Impressed with other Candidates that he hasn't even gotten to know at all yet. He was very happy for them for they have found each life partner today. He just hoped to Faranth that there wouldn't be any dragonets hatched who fails to find their life mates. He kept an eye on the newly impressed candidates as they all left the Hatching sands. They were probably on their way to feed those hungry dragonets. he thought wistfully with a tinge of envy as the others left with their dragons. He wanted to move further into the Sands but his body was rather frozen in place in what to his mind was so far from the Hatching Sands and so near the Stands. He wondered why he had opted to stay in such a place for surely it would be too far for the dragonets to walk especially if they are very hungry when hatched. The best that he could hope for was a cursory glance from all the dragonets who had hatched and Impressed. Surely one would deign to venture out here. he anxiously thought still trying to make his body go a bit more closer to the Hatching Sands.

(ooc: man, i go off to work and you guys run away with the post hehe.)
The hatching so far had been quite entertaining, especially the blue and green that acted like twins. Syriella was really enjoying herself, clapping and cheering for all the newly Impressed pairs. Currently her attention was on yet another green dragonet, this one had wandered on over to the bronze who was guarding the clutch for some reason. Then, seeming to not know what she was doing, the green twitched her tail so hard that it snapped against the gold egg. Syriella like so many others in the hatching cavern gasped with surprise and watched anxiously to see what happened.
When the green eventually made her way toward the candidates, Syriella was unable to tear her eyes away from the now cracked gold egg; it was shaking. Her heart was beating fast with excitement when finally the gold broke free of her shell, though rather stocky and dull in color Syriella still thought her beautiful. She heard people whispering how the dragonet looked more like a wher than a dragon but she ignored them because the hatchling was coming straight towards her.
Her breath was coming quick and she was starting to shake with nerves by the time the gold had stopped her purposeful march directly in front of Syriella. When the young gold said, {{Mine? I am Maigoth, you will be Mine won’t you?}} Syriella gaped and nodded her head slowly. Her heart was filled to bursting with joy but she was at a total loss of what to say or do. Going through Candidate classes a couple different times, while helpful when the brain functioned correctly, didn't really do a darn bit of good when she was in shock.
Finally, only after a wave of extreme hunger took her, did Syriella realize she wasn't dreaming and she smiled and wrapped her arms tightly about her soulmate's neck. {{Of course my sweet girl, of course I'll be yours!}} Tears of happiness were streaming down her cheeks when she finally led Maigoth out of the hatching grounds to feed her.
As they walked, Maigoth tried to urge her soulmate on by asking, {{Can't you walk any faster Syr'a? Come on, I'm starving!}} Instead of getting her rider to walk faster, what she said had the total opposite effect. Syr'a had stopped walking all together and was standing staring at her soulmate.
{{What did you call me?}} Syr'a asked curiously and more than a little surprised. Though, considering both her sister and her mother's names were shortened when they Impressed she probably shouldn't have been. At that though, Syr'a couldn't help but grin, N'sumi was going to be so angry that her older sister had finally Impressed, and even more angry because it was gold.
Maigoth cocked her head to one side and asked, {{Why wouldn't I call you that? Its your name isn't it?}} The awkward gold was very confused. All dragons hatched knowing their names, when they impressed they also instinctively knew their soulmate's names. How could she have gotten her soulmate's name wrong?
At the worry that was clear in Maigoth's tone, Syr'a hurried to explain, {{Don't worry sweetling, its right, just a bit shortened. My full name was Syriella, Syr'a is much nicer though. Especially since you're the one that picked it.}} This last she emphasized with a huge smile and a kiss on top of the dragonet's head. {{Come on love, don't worry over this anymore, lets get you fed.}}
Just then, both the dragon and her rider's stomach have loud rumbles. Syr'a's in sympathy with her young soulmate's.

Having made an entire round of the grounds now The ‘Golden’ Male was getting worried, he couldn’t find His. He could feel him, he could, he just couldn’t find him why was His hiding from him. The bronze dragonet sat down in the sands creeling loudly, the sad heat wrenching sound of a dragonet who can’t find their lifemate.
Trying one last time he reached out to the ‘feeling’ of his chosen groping desperately for the mind of the one he needed. Finally with that last ditch effort he managed it, he could barely feel it, but he could finally feel the mind of His. {{Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine.}} He repeated desperately pleadingly as he finally felt a slight warmth. Yes this was His, he had found him or at least his mind. {{Why do you hide. You can’t hide from your Zwaarth, he can’t find you if you do. You must come out.}} he pleaded with Sirai.
One of the larger eggs soon cut the tension in the air that followed the poor bronze dragonet’s plight. It was mainly brown with some silvery blue on it and it cracked open a piece at a time, with pieces the size of a fist or better falling away until the green within could tumble out. Her hide was actually an odd shade of green and brown. Pulling her self up the Tree Hatchling made her way forward.
The Blinding Trouble Hatchling was still taking her time in finding Hers, but she seemed to be having troubles again. As she passed by the bolder looking egg her tail once more seemed to have a mind of it’s own as she lashed it hard against it cracking it just as she had the Queen Egg moments earlier. She didn’t stop though, once more she didn’t even seem to notice she had done it.
Continuing on the brightly shaded green finally made it all the way to the candidates this time. She stopped a few time to gaze up at one candidate or another before continuing onwards until finally, yes this was Hers. She nuzzled a smaller boy in the chest crooning happily {{I have found you mine. Isn’t your Onusth smart to have found you?}} she said happily to Goceon.
The latest egg that Onusth had assaulted though did not react as the golden egg had. Despite the crack it now held the oddly shaped egg remained motionless and was actually slowly growing a small area of wet sand near the front of it where egg goo was leaking out the crack.
No the next egg to hatch was desolate looking for the most part: A base of brown, a crown of icy gray, and between mountains. It actually seemed to use the mountains as a place to split upon too, as the crack that quickly formed on the egg nearly followed their path around the egg. With that done the dragonet within set to work on the part of the egg facing the crowd which quickly cracked under it’s efforts causing what was clearly a green to topple out taking the ‘crown’ she had made from the top of her egg with her.
She remained sprawled in the sands long enough that a good look could be got of her hide too. She looked like she had a two toned runner’s hide not that of a dragon: the main part a dark hunter green; here and there were splotches of a lighter sea green. As she pulled herself up it could be seen that her forelegs were a bit longer then normal and her hind a bit less muscled. Over all she just held an oddly equine look about her, even her tail swished of it’s own accord now and again.
The Runner Painted Hatchling turned her gaze over the candidates seeming almost to glair at them as if it were their fault she was out of her egg now. When an abrupt shift of her head brought her ‘crown’ down over one eye though she instantly seemed to lighten up making her way forward happily, actually almost seeming to skip or at least as close to one as a dragon could manage.
She stopped at only one candidate, Jerodyn, and that was long enough to look the girl over and give her a brief {{Hello Talking One}} before she continued on right past all the candidates and to the stands. Looking up at the spectators she knew exactly who Hers was. {{Hello X’pen. You are Reinenth’s now so come feel her.}} she told the journeyman beastcrafter now formerly known as Xerpen. After a moment of what seemed shock on his part he was on the sands and leading the green over to the meat.
The Tree Hatchling was still hunting for the one that would be Hers, but so far she was having little luck. The largish green had examined probably every male candidate left on the sands now deciding to start with them for some odd reason, but she wasn’t going to give up yet. Instead she once more trekked down the line nosing the female candidates over this time. Apparently she was just an odd girl.
Varying shades of green and brown covered the next medium sized egg to crack open. It looked much like a forest even as piece began to peal away here and there to reveal a slate blue beneath them that only added a sky to the forest egg. Finally as enough pieces fell away the blue dragonet within toppled out falling onto his side due to the side of the egg that had opened enough first.
He lifted his head turning it to face the candidates seeming to study them all coldly, as he didn’t even bother to move. His tail twitched thumping against the ground as the Aloof Hatchling just kept staring. Finally after a long few moments he managed to get himself self to his claws and made his way forward ignoring the hopeful looks some of the candidates gave him.
Stopping misstep about half down the life of candidate he lifted his gaze to the girl he was standing in front of. {{Well there you are Pona. Gewoonth wondered where you were.}} he stated his eyes still whirling calmly despite his happiness at finding His and the hunger gnawing at his belly. Pona only took a moment to stair before throwing her arms around the blue for a long hug that ended when a call of ‘Yay Mommy Pona.’ Or at least something along those lines came from the stands somewhere. The woman released the blue and smiled back at the stands before leading him towards the meat.
Looking much like the sands that it sits in the next egg to break is as far as everyone can tell going to be the last sue to the egg that Onusth had cracked still not having even twitched. The main thing that set it apart from the true sands was the odd sheen it held. It shattered and shards flew out from it some embedding in the still unhatched egg and some managing to go so far that they hit Zenth where the bronze sat.
Sprawled where the egg had sat second ago was a hatchling that looked so much like the lake it really was odd. As he stood up the image was only made better as it looked like the farther from his back and the closer to his claws the ‘lake’ went the lighter it got though it left such a pattern behind as to look as if the color had ‘dripped’ off of him. He didn’t seem to care though and instead just slowly made his way forward almost hesitantly seeming actually.
The Dripping Lake Hatchling didn’t waste any time though. While he was slow about it he seemed to know exactly who he wanted as he plopped himself down in front of Sozi. {{That was much to far to walk. Why did you not come to me S’zi? Your Hinixusth had to walk all the way here. When can I fly so I don’t have to walk?}}. The blond haired boy just shrugged before both made their way towards the food.
Now she was getting worried. She had looked everywhere. She couldn’t find Hers, she couldn’t even ‘feel’ Hers as some of the others seemed to be able to. Hers wasn’t here then was she? The Tree Hatchling sat down in the sands releasing for the second time in the hatching the call of dragonet unable to find it’s mate. Only this time it was followed by the keening of a dead dragon when the green blinked *between* cutting off her own heart wrenching call for a mate that wasn’t there.
With that some of the dragons stopped their humming, while others kept it up. There was but one egg left on the sands and it was almost as if they couldn’t decide weather it would be hatching or not. The was a long silence of humming as Zenth stood up and made his way to the oddly shaped bolder looking egg nudging egg with his muzzle as he too tried to decide weather he or not it was to hatch.
Just that touch from it’s ‘sire’ seemed to spur the dragonet on though. For the first time in the hatching the egg moved. A spinners web spread out over the egg from not only the crack that it’s clutchsister had caused, but the shards of shell from Hinixusth’s egg too. Then all at once the egg was in pieces on the sands and there was another brown left in it’s place.
While there was a flecking reminiscent of the gray-brown that it’s shell had held the boy for the most part held a hide that feel in the middle of the browns. His entire appearance seemed that way for the most part actually. Over all he appeared a /bit/ smaller then average, but not too much.
His pose held confidence and regality typical of a bronze, but as he moved he broke both by toppling over. Now sprawled in the sands will all attention on him he creeled loudly reaching out for His. {{Help Mine, your Chuuith has fallen and he can’t seem to get up.}} he told Jerodyn.
Sorry this part took so long, but just to be nice i have put the rest of it in this part to make up for it.

Jerodyn watched the green stop, and encouraged her with a smile and warm thoughts when she spoke. {{Hello Talking one,}} she had said. So even the Hatchlings could tell. She clapped when the little one Impressed, and watched the two blues follow suit.
Then her eyes fell upon the little green who was still sitting in the Sands. When she cried out again, Jeri realized what was wrong; she couldn't find her Chosen! She started to run towards the little Hatchling, saying }}Wait! Take me!{{ but the little one had gone *between*, and Jeri felt it in her heart, the severing of a connection, the death of a consciousness. She fell to her knees on the Sands and almost let out a keen of her own. She didn't even notice that there was one egg left and Zenth's encouragement for it to hatch.
She did hear it crack, and looked up. The brown dragon had sprawled on the Sands, and she saw him laying there, stuck, through a veil of tears for the lost green.
{{Help Mine, your Chuuith has fallen and he can’t seem to get up.}}
At first, Jeri didn't realize he was talking specifically to her; there had been other Hatchlings who had spoken to her or paused at her in some way. But then she realized he had spoken his name. "Chuuith," she whispered, then got up to help him, ignoring the sand on her robe. She lifted his torso carefully from the Sands and straightened his wings, checking for any injuries and finding none.
}}You came,{{ she said, smiling as the tears spilled out from her overflowing eyes. }}I was afraid I wouldn't find you or that you wouldn't find me.{{
{{Of course I found you, You are Mine,}} stated Chuuith. {{Where is the food? And why are you crying?}}
}}One of your clutch-sisters was lost. I am crying for her. But I am happier now that you are here.{{ She led him off the Sands. }}The food is in here.{{ With much happiness and wiping away of tears, Jeri began popping gobbets of meat into Chuuith's mouth, seeing Syriella and L'darin right nearby.
"Congratulations!" she said, grinning big and not knowing what else to say.

As Sirai still battled his body into going closer to the Hatching Sands, he noticed a voice insinuate inside his head that said, {{Why do you hide. You can’t hide from your Zwaarth, he can’t find you if you do. You must come out.}} Zwaarth? he thought not sure which of the dragonets it was that had just talked to him. Then all of a sudden, it hit him, that voice in his head could only mean one thing. As if Faranth had answered his prayer, he had Impressed! That knowledge was enough to propel his frozen body rushing forward into the sands as he looked about looking for Zwaarth.
Zwaarth finally caught his first glimpse of S'ai when he came rushing into the sands and like His, Zwaarth happily bounded off to meet His. {{Mine! There you are! I have been looking everywhere for you, S'ai.}} he said with a touch of complaint in his tone. {{But nevermind that, at least I have found you at last. Now you need to feed me.}} he stated as he stopped in front of his astounded Chosen and locked gazes with S'ai.
Sirai did not believe it at first but... there he was. Zwaarth, his own dragon had stopped in front of him and he had locked gazes with Zwaarth. Instantly, a deep bond of unconditional love was created between them. And as if Faranth had answered not only his prayers but also his dream, he belatedly noticed that Zwaarth was the Golden Male Bronze that he had fallen in love with. Sirai or S'ai as he remembered about the honorific that Zwaarth had called him was speechless and all he could do was give Zwaarth a great big hug.
Zwaarth was glad enough when His had given him a hug but what he needed most was food for his empty belly. {{Mine, as much as I love this, I am rather hungry.}} he said. And as if to emphasize his hunger, his stomach gave a loud growling noise.
Oh, of course. Why don't we follow the others to where the meat is? S'ai responded via their telephatic bond. As S'ai led Zwaarth following the others, he did not even wonder at how easy it was to communicate telephatically with Zwaarth.

Riona's heart leapt as she watched the Golden Bronze impress. At the expressions of joy and amazement both the candidate and the hatchling wore, she couldn't help but smile.
But her smile didn't last long as the forlorn cries of a green cut across the sands. Riona and Vorlrth sent feelings of warmth and encoragement her way. {{Don't worry little one, you chosen will be here so...}} Tears of sorrow fell freely from Riona's eyes, her throat constriced with greif, as she stared at the spot where the little green had sat a moment before. Above her she could hear her Valorth add her voice to the keen of the others, and almost felt like joining them. To lose one so young after they had lost so many...

Syr'a had headed directly for L'darin when she'd made her way to where the new weyrlings were feeding their starving dragonets. "Hey you!" she said excitedly, "Congratulations!" Then, despite Maigoth's confusion at what she was doing, Syr'a hugged him. {{What was that?}} the baffled hatchling asked. {{What was the purpose?}}
Syr'a laughed and told L'darin what she had asked when he looked at her curiously, "She wants to know what a hug is and what it's purpose is." Then, turning to Maigoth she said aloud, "Its something humans to to express their happiness, friendship or any number of emotions."
Maigoth brewed over that for just a moment then nodded her understanding and changed the subject, {{Can I eat now?}} Syr'a grabbed up one of the bowls of meat and immediately started feeding her ravenous soulmate. "I'm sorry sweetling, here, chew carefully or you'll choke," she apologized and then instructed as the golden dragonet tried to inhale her food.
After a few moments, Syr'a heard a familiar voice saying "Congratulations," from pretty close by. She looked up and wasn't too surprised to see that Jerodyn had Impressed. The color however did throw her a bit. Her eyes widened but her smile followed right after. "Brown Jeri? That's so great! Congratulations to you to! What's his name? Did your's change? Maigoth calls me Syr'a so I guess that's what I'm going to go by now." Her smile was giddy and goofy as she looked back down to her soulmate and back to her friend.
Only after she'd asked Jerodyn about her dragon did she realize she hadn't even asked L'darin. Sheepishly she turned to him and said softly, "I'm such a ninny sometimes, what's your handsome boy's name?"

S'ai and Zwaarth hadn't gone too far from the sands when they both heard the keening cry of a dragonet in so much sadness. S'ai would be surprised if the men did not shed a tear for that cry. And as S'ai's thought wandered, Zwaarth started giving a keen cry of sadness himself. At once, S'ai focused his wavering attention to Zwaarth anxious to find what was wrong.
"What is it?" he asked looking about them wondering what had happened to make Zwaarth so sad all of a sudden. And that was when he noticed that the little green had disappeared from the sands. Looking about everywhere, he finally understood. He had hoped and prayed that this would not happen but alas, it was not to be so. The little green whose life should have just started had ended so abruptly when she could not find her Chosen. With that, tears started falling down his eyes unheeded. S'ai did not even bother to wipe his eyes dry as he started to comfort Zwaarth.
Oh Zwaarth, I am here. I am Yours as You are Mine. We shall be together forever. S'ai said soothing Zwaarth from his sadness at his clutch sister's demise. S'ai had started to caress Zwaarth's wedge shaped head trying to get Zwaarth's mind away from the death of his clutch sister.
Zwaarth leaned his head into S'ai's caress, reveling in the soothing feel that emanated from it. He was mourning for his sister's death. {{It should not have happened.}} he told S'ai vehemently. {{Hers should have stood here.}} he complained still keening his cry.
Hush Love, it's okay. I understand but... sometimes, it just isn't so. S'ai replied still trying to get Zwaarth calmed down. He understood Zwaarth's anger for he himself was adamantly railing for the fate of that green. If only there were more candidates, then this would not have happened. he thought to himself. There and then, he made sure to remember this event and vowed than when he and Zwaarth have graduated from Weyrlinghood and become dragonriders, they would always make sure to have more candidates than there are eggs.
"Come on Zwaarth, we should get some food into you. You'll get over this, I promise." S'ai said enticing Zwaarth to follow him out of the sands to where the others where feeding their dragonets. What he didn't voice or think too loudly was that Zwaarth would probably forget about his sister's demise. Dragons were just not meant to have a long memory about things. This he knew from reading records he could find about dragons.
Zwaarth followed S'ai out of the sands to where he could smell something delicious. He wondered what it was so he asked His, {{Mine, what is that delicious aroma that I smell?}} To which His answered, "It's probably the butchered meat that's waiting for you and the other dragonets." Warbling happily, he walked by His greatly anticipating getting his empty belly full of those delicious smelling meat and promptly forgot about the death of his clutch sister.
As S'ai approached where the others had their dragonets eating meat, he wondered who they all were. He hadn't spent a lot of time being a candidate when the clutch hatched and he Impressed Zwaarth. Once he and Zwaarth got there, S'ai cleared his throat to introduce himself and Zwaarth to the others. "Hello there, my name is Sirai... I mean S'ai and this is Zwaarth." S'ai said as he gestured to himself and then to Zwaarth. "May I have the courtesy of knowing your names?" he asked them.
And as he waited for the others to introduce themselves, he availed himself of a chunk of meat to feed Zwaarth. But before he let go of the meat, he told Zwaarth, Now i know how hungry you are but please remember to chew your food before you swallow. Since he had taken care of his smallest brother Siris, he knew that babies sometimes forget to chew and swallow their food whole risking themselves to choking on their food. So in case such a thing happened, he had made sure and told Zwaarth about chewing his food before swallowing. Zwaarth readily agreed to chew his meat before swallowing as he anxiously waited to started feeding. Having gotten Zwaarth's agreement on chewing before swallowing, S'ai let go of the meat and Zwaarth ravenously chewed the meat before he swallowed it and asked for more.

L'darin looked up from his feeding Mandarth when he heard a female voice say, "Hey you!" It was Syriella, and she gave him a big hug, which he returned. "Congrats!" he said back, unsure whether to grin or gape when he saw Maigoth. "Gold! I knew you had it in you!"
Jeri grinned at her two friends, then confirmed, "Yes, brown, thanks! His name is Chuuith." The brown dragonet puffed out his chest. "He doesn't seem to want my name to change, so Jerodyn it will remain. But remember, call me Jeri; I hate my name." She laughed. "Though you'd think, with it being a boys' name to begin with and me Impressing brown, it would be shortened. Still." She paused. "Syr'a, huh? I like it."
Your name is nice, Chuuith interjected, broadcasting to Syr'a as well. I don't want to change it.
L'darin was content to listen to the conversation, but was pleased when Syr'a asked him about his dragon. "You are not a ninny. His name is Mandarth, and I think he's about full."
Yes, I am finished, the dragonet said, and turned away from the food bowl, curling up against L'darin's legs. The new bluerider stroked his head and marveled again in his soft hide, and grinned up at the two girls.
"So what's your gold's name again? I didn't catch it before."

As the last of the eggs finally cracked Xy’on carefully picked his way thou the leftover shells and to the table where the new Weyrlings were all feeding their dragons. He took a moment to observe them as well as he could from the view Zenth gave him of them. At least they all seemed healthy and happy.
“Greetings Weyrlings. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. It is sad that your adventure has to start with loss, but it is unavoidable at times. I wish you all well in the time to come.” he said looking around.

Asena had failed, she had once more been captured by her caretaker. She struggled against the woman, Mommy Pona had a dragon she had to go see him. “Dragon, Dragon.” She insisted squirming around, she wanted to see them.
Finally just as her caretaker made it to the sands she squirmed free and dropped onto the hot sands. She was up before the woman could grab her up again and made her way to the Weyrlings. When she couldn’t find her mommy right off she quickly ducked behind one of the other picking the first one she found which happened to be one of the bronzes, or more exactly Novusth.
She giggled from her hiding spot as her caretaker looked around for a few moments before being unable to find her and heading away. When she did the toddler finally took the time to look at the dragonet. Ooh a bronze, she liked them, they were not as pretty as the Pretties, but they were still good. “Hello Pretty Bronze.” she told him grinning as she fell down onto her butt making her look up all the farther to see him.

Novusth looked down at the little girl and nosed her softly {{Hello little one}} he replied eying her curiously. Turning to his he hummed to get Jay's attention, {{Look what I found mine}} Jay turned and blanched white at the sight of a little child with Novusth, he swallowed hard, he would not scream, no he would not scream. Novusth looked at his weirdly picking Asena up by the back of her clothes he carried her over to his {{Why are you afraid J'vyn, she won't hurt you}} Novusth replied mentally chuckling at his riders strange fear of little children.

Asena giggled at the bronze’s touch and his hot breath, though of course that he had spoken back was very nice too. She turned her head to see what the Pretty Bronze was looking at and noticed a boy who didn’t look good. Or at least he looked like some of the people she saw at the healers who didn’t feel good.
The toddler blinked as she was picked up by the hide vest she had had shoved on her today, but a tickling of warm breath on her neck told her it was just the bronze. As the got closer to the boy who didn’t seem well she held her hands up “Pretty Bronze yous?” she asked happily grinning up at J’vyn.
