~~Green dragons are the smallest of the dragons, but by far not the least important. They are flighty, and have poor memories, don't have much in the way of stamina, but they outnumber ALL the other colors put together, and are so agile that they can quite literally spin on a wingtip in the air. Wingleaders can never have enough greens in their wing. Many a larger, slower dragon has been saved from severe scorings by the timely accuracy and maneuverability of a green dragon. Every new green dragon that is shelled brings a sigh of relief to the Weyrleader's heart.
~~When it comes to impression greens are far from picky they will chose anyone readily available, and while there is some reason they chose their riders the varying personalities and such of the rider’s that greens chose makes it hard to determine what they do look at when choosing.
~~They mature at around a turn (13 months) of age and will rise their first time round then starting as early as 11 months or as late as 2 turns depending on the circumstances.
~~These are the smallest and fastest of the colors. They are usually caught by their slightly larger blue kin, but are not picky and will be caught by any male. They do not clutch, but it is unknown as to why. It was once thought to be firestone, but when a green was hatched who was unable to chew firestone-well at least she spit it back up just after complaining of a stomach ach-about 100 turns ago that was disproved. Now no one knows why it is.
