~~Brown dragons are the workhorse dragons. They are powerful, sturdy, and talented. They are the Jacks of all Trades. They aren't necessarily exceptional at anything, but they are the light bombers, good stamina, and can last an entire Fall (unlike the smaller colors). Their flame isn't as long as the bronzes, or as accurate as a greens. They outnumber the bronzes, however, and are a valuable addition to any wing. Some are trained as wingseconds, and in the case of bronze shortages, they may become wingleaders.
~~When it comes to impression and browns it gets a bit more picky here: They tend to pick people who are good followers, but also good leaders; They seem to favor hard workers over slackers; and they tend to favor a heterosexual male over anything else though they do also chose a bisexual or homosexual male, and every now and then a female though a female's sexuality never seems to affect how often they impress.
~~They mature at around a turn and a half (20 months) of age and will start chasing around then starting as early as 17 months or as late as 2 or maybe 2 and a half turns depending on the circumstances.
~~These boys are neither small nor large and are the only ones other the bronzes known for catching a queen. If they mate a queen most of the hatchlings will be the 'lower' colors the chromatics, tough a bronze or so has been known to appear, but one has never sired a queen egg in any record that can be found.
